Music Directors

Wayne Feller - music director Wayne has been our director since January, 1996. He holds a B.A. in Wayne Feller music education from St. Olaf College (Northfield, MN) and an M.A. in music education from Northwestern University (Evanston, IL). In Stillwater, MN, Wayne directs the Stonebridge Elementary Band, the Rutherford Elementary Band, and is an Arts & Technology Specialist at Rutherford. Wayne was named "Band Educator of the Year" in 1994 by the Minnesota Music Educators Association. Details of ongoing and past projects can be found at the Wayne Feller homepage. Sandra Merry - associate music director: Sandy holds a B.A. in music from Viterbo College (La Crosse, WI) and teaches music, currently with the Hopkins, MN school district. She also is the band's flute section leader, and lives in Maple Grove, MN with her husband and three children.
